Little Sprouts School Readiness Program is currently a pilot program and is open to children of all abilities between the ages of 2 and 4 years. The program follows the Bank Street preschool approach inspired by John Dewy’s philosophy on education. Our curriculum can be individualized based on the children’s interest and stage(s) of development. The emphasis is on impacting the child holistically: emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually, through exploration and interaction in an experience-based and collaborative setting.

The uniqueness of our program is that it is supported by our interdisciplinary team of specialists which includes a speech therapist, a psychologist, an occupational therapist, and a social worker. In order to keep the group size small, we are accepting no more than 8 children per group at this time. The small group size and high adult to children ratio allows us to engage each child more closely at the individual level. Children with exceptional developmental needs also have the benefit of having our specialists and services available on site both for direct intervention and consultation with program facilitators.

The School Readiness Program runs during the months of July to August.
